Late Christmas and Birthday

I realized I never posted pics of Christmas and then shortly after that realized I did not take very many. So I will just post this one of Jake and I (our very small family).  It was a very good Christmas, we got to meet our new nephew Forrest and got a lot of good gifts from each other and our families.

 My birthday is two weeks after Christmas so not much time till I get to open more presents.  We went to dinner with friends the night before and then went to a work party that night. I got some clothes and gift certificates for more clothes, magazines on photography and house plans, and eventually a new camera.



Winter Wonderland

This is what we woke up to today. I have not seen this much snow in awhile and this is just from overnight.  It is going to snow all day today and all night into tomorrow morning. I am not a big fan of snow but at least we will have a white Christmas.

Thanksgiving & Megans Birthday!

I apologize for posting this so late it is 5 days till Christmas and I am just getting around to posting about Thanksgiving.  It was a very good Thanksgiving this year I cooked a turkey for my first time and I was quite impressed with it, I did manage to set off the smoke alarms for awhile but what is Thanksgiving with out them?  Kathleen (Mother-in-law) and I made the best cranberry sauce I have ever tasted just ask Bekah! We also got to celebrate my niece Megan's 2nd birthday.  We did a lot of fun things like going to the park, swimming, late black Friday shopping, the men went shooting, a few rounds of pickle ball, and we witnessed several close battles for championship points in the ever so popular motocross races!  It makes me so thankful that I live by both my family and Jake's so that we are able to do these things with them and form a lot of great memories together! Thanks Dave and Kathleen for a great Thanksgiving.

Snowville race I think Jake got First in his class and Matt took second in his.  Someone might have to correct me if I am wrong.  This race was back in October.

Manti Race

Manti was the last race of the year for Jake and it was a lot of fun because Rob, Mindy and the girls came down for it.  This was the first time Jake did a race here and the course seemed pretty fun.

 Look closely at this picture it is a pretty good one.

A little piece of heaven

The weather has been so nice lately so Jake and I decided to go riding up Hobble Creek Canyon on Saturday. I was not a fan of the whole ride but we did find a trail that had the best views and was really fun to ride on. Jake is a huge fan of trails like this so he was off riding while I was taking pictures.

HELP!!

I need someone to help me get my blog back to what it was. I am not really sure what I did but I think I some how have by brother-in-laws info and I lost all my friends and family.
