Monticello & Goblin Valley

Jake had a race in Monticello back in June and we decided since we were down there we would see some sights in the area. After the race we drove to Green River and stayed in a KOA and then went to Goblin Valley the next day.  I was not sure what to expect but we (Jake, Rebekah and I) really liked it.  It is like nothing you have ever seen before unless you have watched galaxy quest.  When we first got there it was raining and very cold but then it warmed up.  We hiked around for a couple of hours and then headed home.
Jake is # 632

This was in the pool at the KOA.  For some reason
Jake loves pulling faces at me when I ask to take a picture of him.
 Excellent dismount!
Jake was showing Rebekah and I some Olympic worthy slide routines.

Jake and Rebekah.  Yes it really was that cold.

All I was trying to do was get a good family picture and instead i got this...
 And then this ...
And then he did it who would have thought it was so hard?

New York

Back in April Jake and I went to New York and yes I am just now getting around to putting up my pictures.  We were able to see and do a lot of new things, and hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Field.  We went to the Culinary Institute of America, The Vanderbilt Mansion, H&M (my favorite), Connecticut, Jake's old ward, the Millbrook Cafe, and a Yankees game.  It was good to see old friends and the places around Millbrook were Jake worked and went to school.

This is a fort that Jake built in the back of their house in Millbrook.  He included a second story and a zip line which are both gone now.  So cute!

This is the sign that was above the door.
It says JF and RF tree fort 1998 for Jake and Rachel.

Jake looks very happy that I am taking his picture.

Saying goodbye. Of course we have to have ice cream before we go.

George & Reba!

Last month I went to the George Strait Reba McEntire concert with a group of friends from work. We went to dinner at Z'Tejas in SLC before and then went to the Energy Solutions for about 4 hrs of the best music! The concert was so good and I am glad I got to see two of my favorite entertainers together.  As an added bonus Lee Anne Womack opened for them and even sang a song with Reba.

Abby's Birthday

I was putting pictures on my computer and ran across a bunch of my niece Abby who just turned 4.  She was born before Jake and I were married and was the first grandchild on the Field side and now she is so big.  I decided to put some of my favorites up so others (Mindy) can look back and enjoy them as well.

Late Christmas and Birthday

I realized I never posted pics of Christmas and then shortly after that realized I did not take very many. So I will just post this one of Jake and I (our very small family).  It was a very good Christmas, we got to meet our new nephew Forrest and got a lot of good gifts from each other and our families.
My birthday is two weeks after Christmas so not much time till I get to open more presents.  We went to dinner with friends the night before and then went to a work party that night. I got some clothes and gift certificates for more clothes, magazines on photography and house plans, and eventually a new camera.

Winter Wonderland

This is what we woke up to today. I have not seen this much snow in awhile and this is just from overnight.  It is going to snow all day today and all night into tomorrow morning. I am not a big fan of snow but at least we will have a white Christmas.
