Thanksgiving is now over

Well now that Thanksgiving is officially over I am forced to take down my favorite turkey plates. So I thought that I would take a picture for all of you who did not get to see them while they were out. (Mainly just Rachel) Hope you enjoy!

Trip to Europe

Well now that we are back I thought that I should share some pics for all of you asking to see them. I tried posting different ones for those of you that look at Amy's blog, sorry if there are repeats. Our trip to Europe was a lot of fun. There are a couple of stories that I think are worth mentioning. First Jake and I had a great experience with buying water in Europe. For those of you who have not been there they have what they call water with gas in it. Jake went into a gas station to buy water brought it out to me and I took the first drink. I informed him that he bought the wrong water. Neither of us were aware of what water with gas was so we went in and bought another...again with gas. Matt then informed us that it had to say still, needless to say our third bottle later we figured it out. Another funny story, we were walking around Salzburg and not only are there cars on the streets but horses with buggies. Jake and Matt were busy talking to each other when Jake turned around to say something to Matt and stepped in Horse crap. I pushed him a little bit before he had the chance to fully step down but I am not kidding you it was a huge pile of crap. The funny thing about that story is that Amy is in the background calling Jakes name about 5 times to get him to pay attention but he was not listening. Overall the trip was a lot of fun we were able to see a lot of places. Germany had the prettiest country side and Prague was the prettiest city that we went to.

our first camping trip of the year...we were not very prepared

Jake and I decided to go camping with our friends Warren and Terisa. It was a nice day and we had a nice drive up AF canyon. We drove up in Warrens jeep and since the weather was so nice he had taken the top and doors off of it. We ate dinner, set up out tent, built a fire then went to bed...

and then we woke up (keep in mind it is june) we heard what we thought was rain off and on throughout the night but little did we know it was not rain. We did not sleep very well because of the decrease in the temp. and packing up in the morning was a bit miserable. I think the ride back was the best and I wish we had pictures to show the jeep. We did not really pack we just threw everything in garbage bags and Terisa, Jake and I held them. You had to look pretty hard to find us.

its official I have finally posted something

To all of you who requested me to post something I hope you enjoy!

This one is for Dave Field

Jake had me take pictures of his new bike so he could show you. He is very proud of it and says that he is happy to be riding for team Honda again. This is what is going to help him get those highly anticipated yellow plates. Also we (Amy and I) are looking forward to you moving out here so we can retire as the "pit girls" so when ever your ready to take over you just let us know. I recently decided I am not very good at that job.

Jakes 90+ mile race at Jericho

the leader of the Novices and if you look closely you will see a couple of crashes as well. Jake ended up 2nd in his class but the guy that finished ahead of him is not a member so he will be 1st. he was 11th or 13th overall in the novices.
Word of advice to all you untrained race goers, when your husband stops at a gas station on your way to the race and tells you that he wants you to go in and buy food, he is not meaning drinks, chips, and a few other light snacks. Oh NO he is really meaning food... hot dogs, nachos, sandwiches and what ever else you can think of that a gas station might have. Forget the fact that you suggested going to walmart for FOOD he is serious when he stops at a gas station and wants FOOD! (Yes Amy I did get in trouble again for not getting the food, even though I was told 1/2 hr before we were leaving that we were even going. yep you have to love them.)

Jericho Race mass novice start

still our Trip to California...

Prestons first race... he seems to be enjoying it...and then he fell asleep for the rest of it.
